Amit & Diana

July 11th, 2020 - Tampa Marriott Water Street Hotel

The wedding of Amit and Diana was one of a kind - in July, 2020, in midst of uncertainty due to a national pandemic, these two came together with their immediate family to celebrate their love with a fusion, Latin and Indian Wedding.

Our team has been in the Tampa Indian wedding business for a long time. Though we have expanded far beyond over the years, Tampa will always be one of our home bases - a city where we got our start and made a name for ourselves. This wedding took place at the Marriott Waterstreet Hotel - one of our favorite venues to work at. Marriott Waterstreet is located in the heart of downtown Tampa, and as the name suggests, sits on a beautiful waterfront location. It is walking distance from the Tampa Convention Center, Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena, and many more dynamic downtown Tampa attractions.

As traveling Indian Wedding DJs, we have been to many venues around Florida, and its our job to create custom celebrations all over the state. There was something unique about this wedding in itself though, something about nothing being able to stop love.

The wedding started with our Bharaat, where Amit gracefully rode his horse down the stunning Tampa Water Side river front, as his immediate family danced away, slowly making their way to the brides side of the family. There are many factors that go into creating a fun and hype bharaat/Baraat, and one of them is making sure the groom enjoys the music. As professional Indian Wedding DJs, creating the vibe during the Bharat is our specialty, and we worked with Amit beforehand to make sure the music was perfect for him and his family as they danced over to the brides family. We also had a Dhol player to add that authentic Indian touch!

We then proceeded to the Wedding Ceremony, where our team provided a sound system with a lapel mic for our priest. We also live streamed this event so that all of our guests who could not attend, could tune in and watch from the comfort of their home.

Upon the completion of the traditional Indian Wedding Ceremony, our guests proceeded to the Lunch reception.

During this time, dance floors were not allowed due to the ongoing pandemic. However, our couples still wanted to keep the music lively and fun for both families. Our couple asked us if we can do a particular latin music genre for a part of the reception, and our answer was a resounding yes! We mixed up some latin hits with Punjabi, and Bollywood music to keep the guests entertained and singing along for the entire reception.

Final Thoughts

We absolutely love what we do. Being a part of such a unique and personalized Indian Wedding celebration was so heartwarming. We learned that being an Indian Wedding DJ near Tampa is not just about playing music, but it is about the entire experience we create. This is why we take our jobs seriously, and we give each Indian wedding or event our all. Being able to craft custom Tampa celebrations is something we will never get tired of. We can’t wait to see you again, Tampa, Florida!
