For those of us who grew up watching Shah Rukh Khan and Kajal’s chemistry blossom on the beach while “Suraj hua maddham” played in the background, our love for the beach has taken on a whole new meaning! So when we heard about Namita and Josh’s destination wedding on Amelia Island’s stunning beach, we jumped at the opportunity.

Their love for each other was so pure and warm, it even warmed up winter for us! Despite the fact that it was December, we were graced with warm, sunny weather.

With a blend of pacific blue and white, the sangeet decoration perfectly complemented Namita & Josh’s deep green outfits. The idea of using a swing as the main stage for the bride and groom was great. We were able to snap some beautiful photos in that setup. Activity corners in south Asian weddings are always a hit as it helps to keep the guests occupied and entertained. The professional henna artist from @manus_beautycare continued her work at the nicely adorned Mehendi zone.

From royal Bollywood glam to a sophisticated formal event, this wedding has it all. The entire event was flawlessly coordinated by @aminaevents.

The wedding was set up in a traditional and royal style. That day, the natural lighting by the beach was excellent for wedding photography. The clear blue sky added a special touch to all of the photos.

With @makeupartistrybysweta’s makeover, Namita looked serene and beautiful. @nicstudios was a fantastic pick for non-bridal makeup and hair because they did a fantastic job glamming up the guests for the event. We loved the magnificent retro car from @colesclassiccars for the Barat. The energy level of the Barat was reaching the sky with the sound of the dholi, @atesh_indarjit, and smoke bombs in the air.

The reception’s starry night theme was breathtakingly spectacular. The location at @ritzcarltonameliaisland was transformed into a literal dream by @myardecor. The heart frame in particular was very thoughtful, a memorable piece that would last a lifetime.

Because of daylight savings, we only had 15 minutes to take reception portraits. The couple was excited to move quickly, and the results were fantastic! You’d have no idea it was almost entirely black during some of those portraits if you weren’t there! However, using very slow shutter speeds allowed us to use every last ray of light!

The reception was very wholesome, with dancing, speeches, laughing, tears, and, of course, delicious food! Some of the photos speak for themselves as to how much fun it was to dance to @awaazentertainment’s rhythms.
